"So worth the small price. This course on how to work with the review system is honest and thorough and finally, I don't feel like a total outsider! I will use everything in it as I finish my book." Jeff P. Albrecht, Roseland, CA
About the Book
Understanding the review system for digital books should be a top priority for independent authors. The hardest thing may be figuring out how to educate those helpful readers who want to do reviews for you! As part of the Beyond Bestseller Author Platform E-Courses, "Managing Reviews" takes authors through each aspect of the review system.
Take your time looking at the sample and make sure this is the right e-course for you. The suggestions here are designed for authors with new digital books. Helpful readers who like to give reviews will also learn what helps and what hurts the authors they love.
Managing Reviews edition by Suzanna Stinnett Reference eBooks
As co-owner of an independent publishing enterprise, I was intrigued when I learned about Suzanna Stinnett's e-book "Managing Reviews -- An Author Platform E-Course." My business partner and I wanted to learn more about how to invite reviews and make best use of them. In particular we wanted to gain better understanding of they ways in which Amazon's reader review system influences the visibility and cross-referencing of books on the Amazon store. "Managing Reviews -- An Author Platform E-Course" not only answered our questions, but enlightened us about key aspects of Amazon's review requirements, and alerted us about other factors that we hadn't even considered -- notably the important role that Amazon's seemingly innocuous "was this review helpful to you" button can play in either elevating the prominence of a book, or diminishing its visibility. "Managing Reviews" not only explains the algorithms behind the Amazon "reader review" system, but also -- true to the title -- offers insightful steps that authors and independent publishers can take to help them make strategic use of reviews to help them -- and Amazon -- sell more books.I figure that the very reasonably priced "Managing Reviews -- An Author Platform E-Course" paid for itself by the time I was 10 pages into it. Five stars out of five from me.

Suzanna Stinnett tells her author-reader-audience, " wants you to sell as many books as possible...Use these tools." The tools include how to manage the reviews on that Stinnett says should be more accurately seen as "reader feedback." This a a no-nonsense, practical guide for authors of e-published books. She explains the "star" system. She describes what is a good and a bad review. I really like the step-by-step approach that leads author-readers through the process of how to ask for reviews. This Beyond Bestseller Author Platform E-Course Managing Reviews is one of the series of "how to" e-books that Stinnett is producing. I plan to read all of them!
Suzanna has a talent for distilling the essentials and presenting them in a logical way. If you're publishing on your own, where do you start? What are the next steps? What do you pay attention to, what not? While offers authors distribution, reviews help customers sift through the ocean of books available on this venue.Reviews can translate into sales. Suzanna closely analyzes the system and narrows her findings down into an action plan for authors. Not only do I plan to read this book, I will use it as my checklist for marketing my own books. It's short, to the point, and a value for the small investment you make by purchasing it.
For anyone who has e-published or is thinking of it. This is a no nonsense, practical and very insightful primer on how to get the most out of your e-book sales page. I read it in one sitting and immediately applied all of the principles Suzanna advocates.
