Still Beauty is a genuine and heartfelt story that should be read by every woman. This is a story about self-discovery and that there is more to life than just existing. It’s about taking chances and finding out that you deserve more than just leading an unfulfilling life. Connie and Liddell were both unhappy and a chance encounter makes them aware of that fact.
The way the author describes the art that is featured in the book makes you feel like you are right there. I have never been a wine drinker but the way he described the taste and the romance of it, I want to give it a shot. I definitely look forward to reading more stories by Cyrano Cayla.
I will recommend this book to others. I give it 4.5 Platypires out of 5 Platypires.

Connie, 47, writes for a teen magazine, has 3 kids and is a specialist in choosing best wine.
Liddell, 42, a civil engineer, part time photographer, has 2 kids and has an appreciation for art like nobody else.

The places they went to study and report about the famous artists and their art, brought them closer and they found bliss in each other's company.
She cried for the wasted years, ordinarily lived, pursuing a false sense of security, that couldn't save her from feeling disappointment.
Falling in love in mere 3 days, a magic they didn't feel with their respective spouses in 10 and 20 years of marriage, came as a surprise to themselves.
Will they dare to choose each other?
or will they continue living in their own monotonous life?
Is choosing something you really love over what is necessary, demands that much courage?

Seeing the splendid art of Michelangelo, Bernini in Google images and speculating them through the eyes of Connie and Liddell was surprising .
My heart was lost in the intricacies of the words, beauty and marvelous narration.
I remained immobile under Cyrano's spell.
Still Beauty speaks volumes about the prowess of author to pen down such a stunning narrative.
This book has triggered in me the love for art that was hidden deep down in my heart.
Awash from the curtain-like waterfall of vivid pictures, loud sounds and raw emotions, as I recall the endless moments of joy, vim, vigor, delight and realization I had while reading it, I'm flabbergasted.

Beautiful descriptions of France, interesting views of art, with likeable characters. The ending was not what i would have expected.
This is a love story for the mature-at-heart. Connie and Liddell are middle-aged strangers who meet while on-assignment for a magazine article on iconic pieces of art. Both are in unfulfilling marriages and silently yearn for something more.
What I loved most about this story is that all the characters, even the main character's spouses, are good people stuck in a sad, but not horrible, existence. Maybe it's just me, but I grow weary of reading book after book overflowing with nasty people doing horrible things, where even the "good" guys are unlikable.
Still Beauty is not that kind of book. Connie and Liddell are intelligent, reasonable and kind people. Are they perfect? No, but I could imagine being friends with both of them. She is struggling to reinvent herself as an art critic/reviewer. He is a successful business man with an avid interest in photography. Their discussions of the pieces they view together for the sake of the article is refreshing and made me want to explore these artists myself. The backdrop of wine tasting and European cities only added to my enjoyment.
A delightful respite from the usual fare! If you want to cuddle up to a sophisticated, slow-burn, intelligent romance, this book's for you!
